Suppose it's just a point of view but they tell me I'm doing fine.
Uni life rocks crazily on. I spent all of Saturday going to Aberdeen for the day, to watch Scotland getting robbed by some Italians who'd clearly bribed the ref with some school friends. It was good to see Adam and David again, and they've made me feel better about how my life is - yeah, it's insanely dramatic, but I've got a pretty good position I ( Read more... ) -

Well, Symbolic was fairly straightforward, and is quite possibly the easiest honours exam I've ever taken. Admittedly, the project will inevitably drag my grade down, but it should still be tolerable. Lie Algebras, this morning, on the other hand, is absolutely horrible. "You know, this project's pretty long. It'd probably be good enough for the 5000-level version of this module. Actually, I should have done the advanced course - the exam, which is next Wednesday, between my Monday, and Thursday-Friday exams is the same and counts less towards the grade, so it would be less work. Well, Alex Salmond is now my MSP. Given he's one of my least favourite politicians (and having his party officially named the "Alex Salmond for First Minister" party on the polling cards to go first for alphabetical order really doesn't endear him to me or make me think he's not egotistical at all. Right, so I officially now have a honours project and a supervisor, which should worry a lot of people I know because they've not heard anything about projects yet.
