Home isn't where it used to be

Wow, I've not updated this in a while. I was meaning to two weeks ago, when Nicholas went away for the weekend, leaving me and his girlfriend Anna staying in his flat. Then we discovered his lease expired on the Friday, rather thana week on Monday as we'd thought. That was fun. Anna called his folks, who picked up his stuff, I crashed with James on the Friday, dumping my stuff in the maths, building, got 7 buses from St Andrews to Inverurie and back on the Saturday to get keys from the Newtons to their flat in cupar which I'd begged to get a week early, then got a lift with my granny to cupar. That was fun. Then I saw possibly th ebest episode of the new doctor Who series yet [Blink] and the next day was wonderfully chilled, with the best F1 race in ages.

The project's still, good, I've got a fair bit done on this project I'm doing on relatively free groups and the atmosphere's nice. The atmosphere's great, and I'm getting on well with people. LAst weekend, went to my uncle's 40th, which was good, and after a couple of good nights at the pub I ended up going climbing for the first time in ages last night. It was great. I've still got skill despite not doing it in three years or so. Some of the strengths's gone, but it'll come back. And I can still balance which is the best part. Forgot how much I missed it and how good it feels. Going again tomorrow, after a barbecue at one of my lecturers' tonight. And the Doctor Who finale is possible the best of the new series ones so far.

All in all, things are pretty great. And I've finally sorted out my standard outfit, and have a hat. Things are great.

doctor who, crazy times, summer holidays
