I Get Along

Mar 24, 2006 23:55

Last night, Neil and I were trying to work out what the latest thing on the mound was. I thought it looked vaguely like a baby tree, but that would be stupid. It turns out it was that.

Anyway, after a day of not much, except for packing, and chatting to Nicholas, Mum picked me up and we went home. She used the interesting tactic of stopping to fill up with petrol, filling up the people carrier with £60 of petrol before realising that her handbag was at home. This meant that, in a weird twist of fate, I had to bail my mum out for cash.

It's good to be home, seeing people and stuff. I'd forgotten how manic my youngest sister can be, she actually generally is worse than me, which means I'm often calmer here, for some odd reason.

It is the weekend and I am weakened. I am also not overusing that phrase, not at all.

[I've realised I can legitmately (and might end up) taking a semester with no modules in it. It would be insane, but it's feasible.]

second year, home
