I have been sucessfully elected to the position of Andrew Melville Treasurer position.
As of two and a bit weeks, the senior committee of Andrew Melville Hall shall be Jamie, Richard Whitty and myself. Given Ally's going to be on the committee, too, it should definitely be interesting.
Craig said he didn't care that he lost to Richard, and then told me he thought it would probably be better for him if I were to try and stay out of his road from now on. Which rather confused me, as I've been doing so for the last couple of months: he refused to expand, and Jamie and Fraser couldn't work out what he actually wanted me to do either. So I'll keep trying to avoid him, as I have been.
Anyway, coursework's pretty light until exams, the break's looking to shape up well, and I've just discovered precisely how bad the whole committee thing was making me feel, as things feel a bit brighter now. As ever, sleep is for the weakened and the weekend.
Now. I have responsibilities. And a visible position. This is going to be very interesting indeed.
"Poets do not go mad; but chess players do. Mathematicians go mad, and cashiers; but creative artists very seldom. I am not, as will be seen, in any sense attacking logic: I only say that this danger does lie in logic, not in imagination." - attributed to G.K.Chesterton.
