Chapters 1 & 2 of "Breaking All the Rules" Posted
After much gnashing of teeth and wrestling with my muses, book 3 of the Realizations Arc is finally making its way onto the web.
The editing process was laborious to put it mildly, but I sincerely hope that the end result was worth it.
One thing that drove me crazy during all of that was making sure that the Weiss assassins' codenames were not used interchangeably with their given names.
For example, "Balinese" is not equivalent to "Yohji". The former is a coldly efficient, wire-wielding killing machine. The latter is a warm, cigarette-smoking sensualist with a lazy streak a mile wide. The facade is not the foundation, but they are indeed interdependent.
The same goes for the others, of course. So when you see a paragraph in chapter 2 that refers to both "Omi" and "Bombay" specifically, I wanted that dichotomy to reflect the different sides of his personality.
Whether or not I've succeeded at keeping all of these personae separate remains to be seen. I just wanted to mention how much I struggled with it.
Since this is the place for inside info, I thought I'd mention that it will be several more chapters before some of the mysteries that have clung to the Weiss sexual triangle storyline are resolved.
At the same time those are wrapping up, though, the much darker shadows haunting Schwarz are beginning to hint at their presences. Hopefully all the Schwarz-lovers out there will find something intriguing in today's posting run. Then again, chapter 3 has even more goodies in it for them, so perhaps we should wait and see.

As promised, this is NC-17 material with plenty of violence, bloodshed, and---eventually---sex. The big difference structurally between this book and the first two is the lack of a flashback. Considering the fact that the flashbacks have all been about first time sexual encounters, there certainly wasn't one needed for this tale since it is a first time encounter story!

En route to the Old Dock district in separate vehicles, the two youngest members of Weiss contemplate their current situations. Once the team is reunited, the job at hand is certainly not what is truly on everyone’s mind as tension fills the air around them. Will this lead to dangerous miscues or is it really nothing to worry about?
Chapter 2: Schwarz Arrives, “Christie” Dies
Even as the florist/assassins are on the hunt, the men of Schwarz are unexpectedly far too close for comfort. Will their presence hinder or help the men of Weiss even as a loathsome necrophiliac rapist receives his just reward?
So there you have it. The next installment of the arc is off and running even as I am doing the same once I've posted this.
Getting to see my kids again is something I am really excited about.
But Amanda doesn't want me to show up at her place until after she's home from work, so I might get to kick around the Triangle a little beforehand. Odds are good that all day tomorrow will be spent shopping and Saturday will be more of the same. I'll be back either Sunday very late or Monday evening, depending on how things are going.
I'm sure I'll post something about all of this once I'm back, but for now I'll just wish everyone a good weekend and pleasant reading.
