Today was the prettiest day of the year to date. Sunny and 65 is how we roll in East Lansing. With the increased sun, you can count on a few things...
Pro:
- You want to be outside, which means the long walks to class are more manageable.
- The feline population of Michigan State feels the need to show a considerably larger amount of skin (classy, yet sexy of course)
- Parties should be getting back to their proper level soon (preferably starting 2mrw)
- Spartan Baseball. Right now, 17-12 overall, 6-2 Big Ten (good enough for 1st place). 4 game series with Ohio State at Kobs this weekend.
- There is not a more beautiful campus in the nation then the 10 square miles of bliss we have here. Take your Stanford, take your Arizona State. Give me my Dirt-E.L.
Con:
- If you actually get the ambition to attend class, the walk is very nice. However, the weather indicates a larger desire for frisbee, baseball, and golf... which can lead to truancy on a whole new level.
- The feline population of Michigan State feels the need to show a considerably larger amount of skin. This is a blessing and a curse. I am not by any means fit and trim, but dammit I know that. Some of you ladies either a)don't have a clue or b) don't give a shit. Leave the spaghetti straps and shorts with "sassy" or "princess" on the butt to the the girls who belong in them.
- Studying for finals becomes even harder when you are trying to focus on Mankiw's definition of oligopoly or Agapic lovers and their relational tendencies, and you look out at the courtyard and see Kiki the Alpha Phi or Bruno the Linebacker tanning and playing catch because their class schedule is about as tough as brushing your teeth.
All in all though, I'll take the spring time over 15 degrees and snowing any day of the week.
Talked to Burns for about 5 minutes tonight online, and I realized that we are alot more alike than I ever thought. We're both capitalist pigs who love money more than just about anything. We love sports, especially the Tigers. Boiler Room and Wall Street are 2 of our favorite movies, and we are both just flat out studs. Bottom Line.
