A room with a view...
I love looking out the window of my dorm room. It is so entertainng sometimes. From 430 North Wonders, you can see alot of things happening; the parking circle, bike racks, intramural field, and Breslin are all in plain view. It's alot of fun to watch at times allowing me and J (thats the roommate) to take a little study break to make fun of someone or yell out to somebody we know.
I went back to Monroe Thursday night for a couple days. It was nice to see the fam, especially mom who I hadn't seen in over a month. I also got to hang out with Melanie and go to John's bonfire and see everyone (well almost everyone). As for sports this weekend, it sucked. The trojans fell prey to Belleville, a school I almost hate as much as Michigan, 48-12:(. I was so pissed. I don't care as much now because I haven't gone there in two years and don't know everyone on the team anymore, but dammit! It's BELLEVILLE guys! If you can't get up to play tough against one of your biggest rivals, give your damn jersey back and quit the team. It's a sad, sad dayin Monroe football when the running clock is used against you at HOME.
Then there's the Spartans... I knew it would be a long season, and I expected a loss or two that we shouldn't lose, but this one was a heartbreaker. 20-19 loss at home on a last second play from a back-up quarterback to stick the dagger in my heart. I was numb after the game for a long, long time. And, to add the metaphorical salt on my wound, Michigan beat Notre Dame 38-0, and looked damn impressive doing it. I fuckin hate Michigan. That is all I can say to that... Oh yeah, the Lions and Jets lost too. Screw football for a few days.
Party at State Saturday was a blast. Diddy threw a bash at the basketball house, and I ran into a ton of people from last year to add to the festivities. Excellent night filled with surprises (what the hell was Marcus Taylor doing there?).
Homework is my fate this week. I have a ton of stuff to do, and I'm gonna try and get ahead so I can party it up next weekend for the BDAY.
