Whirlwind...
Well boys and girls, I'm back. It's been entirely too long, but my last 3/4 weeks has been intense. Filled with moves, work, tailgates, parties, and oh yeah... class. Lemme give ya the abriged version.
State is even better when you know what you're doing. As unbelievable as freshman year was, this year has potential to eclipse it ten fold. Welcome week started the year off with a bang, and it hasnt stopped since. I have the job at the front desk, which I work 3 times a week (one of which is at 6:40 am on Wednesday. Yeah, thats in 6 1/2 hrs). I'm also overloaded with work in my classes this semester, which I think is good for me so I can discipline myself and get my GPA back to where it should be. Football season is, well, FOOTBALL! It's awesome, and the weekends up here are something truely amazing.
And through all of this, I have begun seeing a lovely lady from back home. Her name's Melanie, she went to Dundee (which is about 10 minutes from Monroe for you non-locals). We're just takin it slow, lovin each other's company, and havin a great time. But I've had a crush on her all summer, since I worked with her at Bob Evan's, so its difficult to stop thinkin about her and focus up here.
