Water from the sky
Significant rain yesterday, starting before dawn when the front came through, and continuing, with breaks, during the day, evening, and last night. It's not raining now but the yard grass (which has had patches of supplemental the last month or two, as we tried to save trees) is looking distinctly green.
I haven't been out to the gauges yet, but the 300 gallon tank was overflowing when I got in from choir practice late last night, and the lily pond is full to the top of the edging on the west end. Very good news for the 80 acres vegetation and wildlife.
