The other new blog
Before risking my books to blogging software I'd never used, I practiced with something I knew I wanted to do, but that wasn't as public. Yet.
Both a website and blog dedicated to our 80 Acres project. The website is still minimal (since once we played with the blog software and customizing the theme we went to work on the book-related ones) but it's there. Eventually it will have a lot more stuff on it--the lists of plants and animals, a map of the place, photo documentation of the work we've done, etc. And eventually I hope it will generate enough interest that I can convince my agent & editor to let me write the book about the project that I want to write.

It's made a good test bed for the other blogs. They're all customized from the same basic theme at WordPress.
