to yem ~ what i learned from my kitty
until i receive questions i'll use this space to share things i learn.
today it was from a small, loving and humble place. one of my cats. her name is yem. for any phish fans, it is for "you enjoy myself".
this is a perfect name for my cat as she is full of love.
yesterday she was throwing up. she continued to do so throughout the entire night. even when i took away the food.
with all this, she still continued coming up to me and purring and rubbing and wanting to be petted and loved.
this morning i took her to the vet. he stuck her with a needle at least 4 times - to hydrate her and give her some medicine. even with all the pokes and prods she was loving.
what i have learned - even when sick, or not feeling well - ask & give love. it will give me the satisfaction of mentally feeling well, even if i don't physically feel that way.
who knows how well i will accomplish this task next time i'm sick, i hope to one day do it as simply and without thought as yem.
