Обожаю переводить песни. Какая-нибудь маленькая строчка, или полстрочки, или просто слово заставляют перерывать тыр-нет в поисках ответов.

Мучаю Dharti
Песня Gaddi Moudan Ge

на аглицком там есть такая строчка "Our accent is that of Doaba"
Ушла серфить. Возвращаюсь:

"Punjabi as we all know has various dialects, but all share similar words spoken in various accents which tend to deform the word itself, making the word thus sound like another word. The main dialects are Doabi, Malwa, Majha.

Doabi : This dialect was heavily influenced by the persian reign during 11th AD and upwards. The word doab Do-Ab, (two-rivers in persian), means the land between two rivers, which is fundamentally the region in India where doabi is spoken. It was originally written in Perso-Arabic script (Shahmukhi) and was later changed to Gurmukhi in the Indian Punjab by one of the Guru. Doabi is actually the most common dialect spoken, and most sweet sounding when spoken properly.

Malwa: Is just a plain dialect of punjabi, that adheres deformed characteristics of Doabi, and Majha propertizes the same charactertistics and inevitably both are unpopular."

Интересно, блин!
