someone has been putting "MYTH." stickers all over the hill. any of you responsible? i didn't recognize the handwriting but am inclined to think that they are in response to my "FACT." interventions. interesting.
is this the onset of, like, a sticker war? sweet.
i haven't even opened the new york times in over a week. disgusting. granted, i've been busy, but that's no excuse. i have massive feelings of guilt for blocking out world happenings. it just that everytime i open a newspaper i get terribly angry and sad.
which is why i'm making long-term plans of making the world more pleasant. one neighborhood at a time. i am completely convinced that aesthetic pleasure and urban planning are major contributors to healthy living, community-building, and awareness.
also, let's talk about the lack of universal healthcare and education possibilities in this here country of ours. i say, if you're passionate about something, tell everyone about it. get into heated discussions with strangers at airports and bus stops and coffee shops and grocery lines. catch people making uneducated generalizations and stating flawed arguments. encourage people to question and think and defend their ideas.
arguing is a healthy thing. and sometimes offending people is okay.
apathy is the most vile thing ever. what's the point of living if you're disengaged and disinterested in anything or anyone but yourself?
