Following is a list of the supporting roles for a new Warner Brothers movie, "Dramarama". It's basically "Bring It On" set in a drama club. It looks sooooo cheesy.

(Note: I mock, but if I had seen this 10 years ago? I would have been all over this like white on rice.)

Warner Brothers is now accepting headshots and resumes for its new movie "Dramarama" which will film in Vancouver, Canada in April. NOTE***High School students that are cast must be able to commit to song and dance rehearsals throughout the month of March.

Here are the character descriptions:

FLOYD MCWHIRTER] A scruffy senior at Richmond High, a dilapidated public school in the Outer Richmond District of San Francisco, he's one of the many disaffected teens at Richmond. A gifted musician, Floyd is the son of a pair of half-cracked ballroom dancers, and he's left to his own devices quite a bit. A well-read pianist who has covertly written a rock opera about the lives of his friends, Floyd initially mocks April for being a snooty transfer student from private school, but he becomes caught up in her energy and her determination to forge the Drama Club into a powerful vehicle for the performing arts. Attracted to April for her drive, her talent, her taste, and her ability to lead others to be all that they can be, Floyd pairs off with her romantically during the course of their mutual battle to win the Dramatic Competition known as Dramarama...LEAD (18)MUST BE ABLE TO SING AND DANCE.

[JULIE] A student at Richmond, Julie is a sight to behold, with two massive pigtails perched on top of her head, oversized black glasses (a la Carrie Donovan), and invariably dressed in clothes she has designed for herself -- like a hot pink paisley jump suit. An aspiring fashionista who fears her bizarre fashion taste will never make it out of her portfolio, Julie is April's first convert to the cause of winning the Dramarama competition. Ambitious, quirky, and maybe a bit clunky, Julie becomes April's second in command, a self-doubting acolyte who fears her best ideas are too eccentric to be made public...LEAD (17))MUST BE ABLE TO SING AND DANCE.

[RAMONA VELAZQUEZ] Latina, another disaffected student at Richmond High, Ramona is the leader of the Goth Girl clique: she dresses in black, wears piercings and a permanent scowl, and has a tongue as sharp as her wit. Inclined to rebel against authority for the sheer adolescent hormonal hell of it, Ramona is a permanent denizen of Detention Hall, and she's reluctant when recruited to join the Drama Club. But Ramona's bad attitude conceals a spectacular artistic skill, one she puts to use when she's assigned to be the show's scenic designer...LEAD (14))MUST BE ABLE TO SING AND DANCE.

[BIRD] A skinny AV geek, whose real name is Bert, he is another unhappy, socially awkward teenager at Richmond High. Silent and withdrawn to the point of being a mute, Bird is assigned the task of lighting designer, and he initially tends to flood the stage with a gazillion watts of blinding light. But Bird quietly masters his craft without saying a word, and by the time of Dramarama, he finds his voice, confidently snapping orders to the techies through his headset...LEAD (14)

[RAIN] A radical environmentalist, Rain is another oddball eccentric student at Richmond High. Dressed only in hemp, Rain is perpetually on the lookout for leather, fur, and other instances of animal abuse. Rain is another regular inhabitant of the Detention Room, and she's dubious indeed when April insists that Drama Club will be fun. But somewhat to her surprise, the touchy, animal-obsessed Rain gets involved in the infectious spirit of the Drama Club, and becomes a core member of the group...LEAD (15))MUST BE ABLE TO SING AND DANCE.

[NICHOLAS SWEENEY] African-American, Sweeney is a hotshot jock on the football team, an actual star on campus. Sweeney has a great secret he's concealing from his buddies on the football team: he's a spectacular dancer, able to encapsulate the entire history of dance in 30 seconds. Quick to join the Drama Club, Sweeney repents at leisure, fearing his jock buddies will think less of him if he performs. But in fact, when they learn the truth, they're wholly supportive of Sweeney's efforts to out-Astaire Astaire, and even become members of the backstage crew in order to help their buddy. He ultimately becomes a choreographer after leaving school...LEAD (15)MUST BE AN INCREDIBLE DANCER.

[LORNA] April's best female friend at the exclusive Westlake Academy, Lorna appears to be a devoted acolyte and spear carrier. But when April leaves Westlake and transfers to Richmond High, Lorna becomes the biggest star of Westlake's Drama Club, and develops a bad case of diva-dom. Quick to steal April's boyfriend Chad, Lorna becomes a screeching harpy backstage, intent on showing herself to best advantage -- and by the time of the Dramarama, she and April are deadly rivals...LEAD (16))MUST BE ABLE TO SING AND DANCE.

[CHAD] April's boyfriend, Chad is a student at the Westlake Academy, and together with Lorna and April, they're the three stars of the school's Drama Club. A rich kid who's loudly appalled when April transfers to public school, Chad keeps their romance going for a while, concealing the fact that he and Lorna have become a couple. When April learns that Lorna and Chad are a couple, she's even more determined to win the Dramarama...LEAD (16))MUST BE ABLE TO SING AND DANCE.

[FRED THE FRESHMAN] A lusty, dermatologically-challenged freshman, who looks like he's about 10 years old, Fred wags his tongue at April (like a complete perv) the first time he meets her. Fred joins the Drama Club for the time-hallowed reason: it's a great way to meet chicks, and he tries to prove he's mature by keeping an unlit cigarette in his mouth. Unsuccessful in convincing cute girls that all the cool guys started out in Drama Club, he winds up in charge of auditions for future productions at Richmond High...2 speeches & 12 lines, at least 13 scenes (15) MUST BE ABLE TO SING AND DANCE.

[GOTH CHICK 1 & GOTH CHICK 2] A pair of 200-pound Goth Chicks with manly baritones, they are in Ramona's circle of black-clad piercing enthusiasts. Regular inhabitants of the Detention Room, they too are pressured to join April's Drama Club, and grow dubious about April's leadership when they suspect her of defecting back to Westlake. Tough as well as overweight, they use their fists to physically intimidate George and Ira Grumowitz when the brothers try to sabotage Richmond's performance at the Dramarama...4 lines, at least 11 scenes; 2 lines, at least 11 scenes (14) MUST BE ABLE TO SING AND DANCE.

[GEORGE GRUMOWITZ] Pudgy and bespactacled, he's the brother of Ira Grumowitz, and the two are the songwriters at Westlake. Smart and cunning, the brains behind Westlake's shows, George conspires with Ira to lure April back to Westlake, and later tries to sabotage the Richmond High entry at the Dramarama. He winds up beaten badly by the outraged Goth Chicks...1 speech & 12 lines, 11 scenes (15)

[IRA GRUMOWITZ] Slender and angular, he's the brother of George Grumowitz, and the two are the resident songwriters at Westlake. Smart and cunning, the brains behind Westlake's shows, Ira conspires with George to lure April back to Westlake, and later tries to sabotage the Richmond High entry at the Dramarama. He winds up beaten badly by the outraged Goth Chicks...1 speech & 12 lines, 11 scenes (15)
