Six Days!
Six days until we’re off to Orlando! I started The Deathly Hallows last night, so I actually think I might finish before we go! Yay! I‘ve never actually read the Beedle the Bard stories, so I’m thinking I’ll take that one along to read on the flight. (It’s a heck of a lot smaller than any of the other books, at least!)
My friend asked me to “look into” transportation between the airport and our first hotel. I hired us a Towncar. I wanted to do something nice for her, because she’s pretty much paying for my flight out of her airline miles. It will be nice to have someone meet us at the airport and to ride to our hotel in relative comfort. Hiring a car wasn’t that expensive compared to the cost of a cab, and the shuttle sounds like a child-filled nightmare. Plus, they include a stop at a grocery store, so we can stock up on booze snacks booze.
Also, I bought a faux-dragonhide suitcase. Okay, it’s probably supposed to be alligator or something, but it’s gray and black and awesome. I want to get a Slytherin patch to put on it before I go, but it would almost certainly be ruined. (Yes, I’m Slytherin…I don’t know why. I really would rather be Ravenclaw.)
After we spend a few days at Universal, we’re going to Disneyworld for another couple days. Is it weird that I’d almost rather just stay at Universal?
