Drama Queens and Surprise Elves
The HLP and I had a lot of fun watching some of the Davis Cup semifinals yesterday. Nole’s match was fun, if a bit long. We felt bad for Berdy, but as soon as Nole fell down, we knew he would come back to win. He always does. He even admitted afterward that he feeds on the drama. After he finished, Janko played such a smooth match against Stepanek…I know Stepanek isn’t at the top of his game, but it was great to see Janko just going about business. His reaction after winning, and the team’s reaction, made it even more fun.
Also, we found a tennis version of Figwit. Every time they showed the Serbian team, the HLP and I were ogling Nenad and Viktor and either Nole or Janko, but we kept noticing another guy there who was playing cheerleader. After all day of saying, “Who is that?!?”, we finally went online to do some research. We think it was Ilija Bozoljac. Can I just say? Wow.
I expect that France vs Serbia Final will be made of both fail and awesome, because both teams excel in those areas.
