The Shirt

Here I am in my office where I'm having mild panic attacks about a variety of things -- most notably the impending dreaded-work-event, but also all other manner of free-floating anxiousness. But, it all pales in comparison to my shirt dilemma.

My groovy black top with the glittery things around the neck smells like it has been worn one too many times (which is likely true).  It's one of those dry-clean-only deals, and I don't do dry cleaning if I can help it. So today I pulled it out of my closet, without, I suppose, giving it a good hard sniff. As I dwell here in my free-floating anxiousness it DOES NOT help that my garment is highly odoriferous. I have a meeting (in a small, crowded room) all afternoon, and FIVE guest speakers arriving in my class tonight, and I stink.

I'm trying to comfort myself by saying it's a natural musky fragrance.  Some people like natural and musky, yes?
