Jason wasn’t quite sure where he was. The view from the widow looked like New York City but a lot of things didn’t make sense. All signs of the usual capes were gone, replaced by a lot of new ones he’d never heard of before. All of his contacts either had never heard of him or never seemed to have existed at all.
It was disorienting. Confusing. Jason eventually took off his masks and hid his weapons in a backpack ‘borrowed’ from someone not paying nearly enough attention. This accomplished, it was easy enough to find a bar and a bartender that didn’t care about his lack of ID. Of course, just Jason’s luck that a fight had to break out when some costumed pair crashed through the door. And Jason, being the fine and upstanding…or really just annoyed, guy that he was joined in. He picked the side of the guy with what looked like a metal arm and between the two of them, beat up the guy dressing like a rhinoceros. Whoever the guy with the arm was, he was a hell of a fighter.
Following the guy home after the fight led to another one before Jason got to learn the guy was one hell of a fuck too. The former Robin glanced over his shoulder towards the bed, the still naked man likely not so asleep on it. With a shrug, Jason decided that for right now he’d earned a rest wherever he was and was going to have another great roll in the sheets with whoever this ‘Bucky’ guy was..
