========================================

Obsidian, also known as Todd Rice, wasn’t quite sure if he should be annoyed that people were talking about him behind his back or embarrassed as to what they were talking about. He’d just slid into the room as a shadow on a routine security patrol when he’d stumbled across his father and Jay Garrick talking. He was about to go on until he heard Jay say his name to Alan.

“I still think I could talk Kyle into doing it,” Alan Scott remarked as he waved some steam away from his coffee.

“And nothing against Kyle but he seems rather occupied already. That arrow-kid,” the aged speedster pointed out.

“Then what about Ted’s kid? Tom.”

“If you get Ted’s kid dating yours just how do you think he’ll react?”

“Good point. Then what about Damage? Grant Emerson. I’ve heard a lot of good things about him and he seems like the type Todd would -“thankfully Alan was cut off but someone new.

“I can not believe I’m hearing this,” Jesse Chambers groaned, face palming as she and Hourman made their way into the room. Obsidian took this moment to make a hasty exit. He really did not need to hear any more of that..
