lazyness

I know it has been like forever since I last updated. I wish I could use some lame excuse like I have been very busy with projects and exams that I have not had the time to keep up with this, but this is not exactly true because I have been too lazy to work on my projects either. To be honest I do not exactly know what I have been doing with my free time in the past couple of weeks. This post is not really going to be like most of my entries that usually get kind of lengthy because I am not really going to update on what is going on with me.

Here are some brief summaries of what I have been up to lately:
- Jenny, Mike, Chelsea, and Emily are on an indoor soccer team, Howard the Duck. I have been going every Thursday night to cheer them on along with Lizzie, Jeff, Amy, Lonnie, and a few others sometimes. Howard the Duck was actually at the last game because Ben and Fust and brought him.

- I am once again on an Intramural Bowling team; this time with Marc, Stacy and Eric. We are doing pretty good and I am enjoying it. Although I do not know if I am going to deal with Intramurals next semester because now that I am not only bowling at Ypsi-Arbor I cannot stand being there.

- I skipped bowling and coaching last Saturday to go to the Ford Field game with Jenny and Marc. It certainly was not as exciting to be there as it was last year, but I am still really glad I went.

- Last Sunday I took a coaching class to help with coaching on Saturdays at Skore. This is the same class I took seven years ago; it is hard to believe it was that long ago. I decided to take the class again because I have not really worked with anyone who has needed coaching other than the basics that are taught to bumper bowlers and the knowledge to teach them does not come from the class. Taking the class again I believe really help me as a coach and now I am a more confident coach and feel like I actually know how to coach.

- Friday night was the AKL date auction. I did not end up buying anyone, but if I had known everyone else was going to I probably would have, but oh well. I had a lot of fun just watching the guys get auctioned off. The really fun part was that of the girlfriends only one bought her boyfriend and it did not seem like she was planning on it, just no out bid her.

- Yesterday morning I got woken up by a phone call. It was JOE!!! He was a little bummed because he was hoping to leave me a funny voicemail in his voice of Stitch. I was pretty surprised to get a call from him because he almost never calls me, but that is because my letters keep him informed with so much. He could not possibly have called me to ask what is new with me because he had just read the eight page letter I had wrote him. I honestly did not intend on writing some many pages, but a lot had been happening around the time I was writing the letter and I had some things on my mind that I wanted to discuss with. I suppose my writing to Joe has taken up a good portion of the time I use to write in my livejournal, but oh well. I could just write in my livejournal because I know he still reads them, but I know how important mail can be, especially when homesickness is in place. We miss our "big brother" and are counting down the days.

- Today after my second math class Amy got my attention, so I could walk with her towards the Rec for her dance class. She did not really want to go, but did not have anything else to do while Chels was in class, then someone else in her class informed her that class is canceled due to the teacher being sick. So, I told Amy to come on up to my place to keep me from working on my project. I really should not procrastinate on my project, especially since this is a group project. I have been having the problem being motivated all semester. Anyways, Amy and I just chatted about various things; my roommates, weddings, family holidays, and possibly some other stuff. I am not exactly sure what made Amy do this but as she was leaving she decided to do an imitation of Kevin and Chelsea; from when Kevin fell down the stairs laughing at Chelsea whispering that she was a little drunk. Even though I was not there when it happened I think Amy did a really good reenactment of the moment. Thanks for making me laugh and giving me an excuse to put things off a little more, now I have to get some things accomplished before dinner.
