So I spent New Years in a train in NJ.
Looking out the window I saw fireworks and my friends and I wished each other a happy new year on the train.
NY is brilliant.
The best part of the trip was sitting in the Bronx by the water looking over at Long Island in the shade people watching.
It was GREAT weather while we were there. Almost 70 out when we walked around the Bronx and Time Square on the 1st.
Saw "Ground Zero"....absolute silence. Walk a block away and you're back into the city noises etc. Crazy.
The HoJo's in NJ SUCKS ASS BALLS.
I hate everything about NJ except the funny kids we met at the GHETTO train station in Clifton.
Felix the "Cat" and A.J (Whitey) called a cab for us to get back to the HoJo's.
Brilliant.
2am walk with Ash in NJ...a bit dodgy but fun none the less.
"Matt Ray...meet Matt Ray."
So our reservations at the HoJo's got screwed up due to another MATT RAY from Indiana who had our reservations and blah blah blah.
Fun stuff.
NJ TRANS...it. We'll share that picture with people once it's printed.
You'll laugh if you understand it.
Joe speaking--
"Have you met your riding buddy yet?"
All in all a pretty good trip. Missed the ball dropping but the train station was just fine with me.
I want to live in NY City...
