denkizero fixed our camera last night! She'll be modest about it and claim it's no biggie, but the point is that our camera's working again, and you'll see more pictures of my pretty face sometime soon. Maybe I'll make a new icon tonight. These ones are all getting just a bit out of date.

This morning in the Globe, Jeffrey Simpson starts off his column with something about how "They say revenge is a dish best eaten cold." What? No, no one says that, Jeffrey. No one likes to eat revenge. Instead, people like to serve revenge.

I've been working on a very, very extensive post about my family history, but I don't know if I'll just post it privately. Would that be interesting to anyone? It would be interesting to me if some of you did it. Mine's very long, though. I was going to do one about my family - including extended family - and one about my childhood and adolescence apart from family. So, basically friends and school. But I might split the family ones up, too, into one about my mother's side and one about my father's side. Anyway, would anyone actually read such stuff?

I'm toying with the idea of a trip to Toronto in November. drunkbridesmaid, would you be up for that? Any weekends better than others?
I'm really itching to get away from work for a while, too, so I might just combine it with some sort of time off, too...
