I know all of these tech requests that I make are really lame, so, sorry about this.
My computer has stopped recognizing my camera. What could be causing this? It used to be that when I pushed the little button on my camera's dock, the computer would realize, 'hey, there's a camera attached to me!'. And then I could upload photos from it. But for a while now - a pretty long while, the button on the dock has been completely ineffective.
I've tried reinstalling the software that came with the camera, and I've tried connecting the USB cable directly to the camera (as opposed to the dock). What else might I try?
