The Story behind the Userpics
Decided to do this out of boredom (and 'cause a few folks asked me about a couple of my icons recently). I'd like to see it become a meme.
This is a play off of "My Little Pony" the toy from the 80's. I made it using this image
Initially I had just this still which seemed to scare people. lol And I was pretty sure the message wasn't being conveyed.
I found this a long time ago. Back when I had a page on geocities. It may still be around but I have no idea what the url is and my e-mail has changed about 8 times since then so I have no way of retrieving it. Anyway, I just thought it was cute and goes well with my username.
This is an image I made of the greek letters psi and chi which are the root of psyche which means mind (or soul).
I think I may have expressed before that if I were to ever get a tattoo, it would be of the comedy and tragedy masks. I do still love acting (though I haven't done it since my junior year) and I think the ideas encapsulate life.

I did intend to wear flowers in my hair that summer, but that didn't happen. =/ But yeah this is me (obviously) and I named it "sentarita" because when I was younger we had a hand game where we said "we goin to Kentucky. we goin to the fair. To see the sentarita with flowers in her hair..." And that's how we (mis)pronounced it. The pic makes me think of that game so I titled it that.
I should delete this icon since I never use it. Now it looks kinda weird to me. But yeah nothing "deep" about it. It is what it is.
He used to do this all the time. Luckily he doesn't anymore.
Self-explanatory. I didn't even notice these signs until recently, since I don't drive.

lol Ok so when I went to Virginia 2 summers ago I saw these buttons that looked slightly like this. They were to encourage tourists to not curse. lol I thought the idea was hilarious. At some point me, Q and Munchie starting trying to collect them because we thought it was kinda ironic that these foul mouthed girls were wearing something to promote "clean language." I couldn't find them when I got home so I made this icon as sort of a tribute to that.

A purty gift Tara made for me. I think I'm gonna try and find the original icon. I used to like it.
lol If you've seen Dave Chappelle's last stand up show, you know what this refers to. "I'm gonna get these balls smooth as eggs!!!" I can't explain it, really. You just have to see the show. It's hilarious. I still need to make one that says "What the fuck is JUICE?!"
Alright I titled this "smilesncries" from Training Day. There's this line where Ethan Hawke's character is trying to explain "the streets." =/ The idea is ridic, but the line that stemmed from it was kinda cool (at least to me). "You gotta control your smiles and cries because that's all you have. And no one can take that away from you." When I look at the pic I think it looks like nice, but also kinda sad and it reminds me of "smiles and cries."

Super crime fightin ace! BJJ and Smart Susie were important to me because there were one of the first distinctively black lead characters in a cartoon I remember. And they kicked ass.
If you don't know about HomeStar by now... lol Naw I think this was the first animated icon I ever made.

Man, I still crack up at this. Just the notion that someone thought they were being deep by doing it. PURE ig'nace!
I don't even have a keyword for this because I want a better WW icon. Maybe one of her spinning. Eh.
Again self-explanatory. I wanted a laughing icon that made it clear that I wasn't laughing WITH someone.
And here's the one I use when I'm just laughing. I think it's kinda cute. =)
When I first tried making this, I wanted it to say hate like 6 times, but the file got too big for LJ. I still wanna make an icon that says "I want all hottubs cold." Man that's hateful!! lol
I mean, yeah. hehe The part that was almost as funny was afterwards dude said something like "...but I don't think God would like that." *dead!*
This may actually be my favorite icon. Though I know a lot of folks are mad at it. LOL! The simplest one I made, but the one I'm most proud of.
I got this from that stickie/post-it comm (which reminds me I need to find it and credit).
I would like a cuter picture of Squirt, but yeah.
LOL!! The bigger version is much funnier. Still makes me laugh though.
Eeeeeverything has a price.
Someone else has a co-sign/cosine icon and I thought that was SO clever. I still like that idea better (and wish I'd thought of it first), but this will do.

I don't even remember how I stumbled across sup_internets' journal, but I LOVED this. Oregon Trail used to torture me though. That damn fjord! And no one ever wants to trade for the part I need.
And finally, my future wife. =)
Ok that was time consuming.
In the spirit of randomness, I think I've started or at least conceptualized about 20+ entries on religion that may never get posted (partially for fear of offending folks).
Also in the spirit of randomness, I'm gonna need bradfitz to call me up when someone replies to me until the e-mail notification system starts working again. This mess is ridic.
