What's it all about.... Ebbie?
Very condensed updates.
So I didn't make it to Tejas week before last. That was a "bust." =( I can't even go into the details of why (still upsets me a bit). Suffice it to say the novice plane rider needed more guidance. But experience is the best teacher so the emotional bull I went through in NOT making it last time taught me what to do to ensure that I make it this week! =) So this weekend should be cool. Plus I get to meet Keverbody (who's prolly reading this. Hi Kev! *waves*).
Went to the parade on Monday. What parade? =( I thought EVERYone knew about the parade!! Anyhoo, this parade. It was fab! I forgot my camera though. =/ The... irony (?) of them making a big phoenix during one of the NOLA displays was just off. lol Fire != water, folks. lol But the overall mood was lovely and the costumes were great (como siempre). Lots of Marilyns, lots of Rainbow Brites, lots of Dorothys. lol Munchie's (my best friend's younger sister) friend, Sean, was dressed up as HER. It was priceless. He had a wig that was the SAME as the one she always wears. Had the glasses, her kinda jean outfit. lol Best costume ever. I rocked a t-shirt that simply said "Boo." I'll scare ya like a scarer!
The short story is coming along nicely. Truth be told I prolly should be done by now. I procrastinate with it sometimes. I'm scared of fucking it up. And I think too much. I wanna just write and let the ideas flow. I'm about halfway through and I already have like 3 ideas for the ending. I don't like that. Maybe by the time I get there I can switch it up. I need to set aside specific time for writing though.
