I just made another submission to Overheard in NY. I need to take some pics of my office door, the next door office/hall and the painfully clear signs all over the place to express how STUPID and ANNOYING it is that people consistently need assistance to get to Suite 706. I'm convinced that whatever type of business that is REQUIRES its employees to be at least slightly brain dead.
A lady walks up to the door of my company's office.
Woman: Excuse me, where is 706?
Me: That way *as I point*
Woman: There?
Me: Uh huh.
Woman: You mean, I have to open the door and go through?
Me: .....Yes?
If you can think of another way to work a door, please let me know, maam.
On that note, it is PAST time to go home!
