La otra guerra sucia
Ok so here's my contribution to a subject that will undoubtedly be in an onslaught of LJ entries. The capture.
I'm not willing to give the military any props on the capture of Saddam because I'm about 99% sure that his capture was pure serendipity. I truly get the feeling that a group of guys were supposed to be patrolling the border, stopped in the shack to light up a cigarette and heard Saddam right under them snoring or something. They've been searching for him forever so I'm sure finding him was not the result of some elaborate tactical maneuver. They tripped over his ass.
I’m putting up my stupid penetration shield now. After 9/11 when everyone suddenly became all patriotic and loved Bush I had to upgrade to the supermoron Sloman's shield. I'm sure I'm gonna sound arrogant for saying this, but this country is FILLED with idiots. The general populace has about the intellectual capacity of Bubba Gump. And right now as I type this there are masses of idiots having unprotected sex spreading their moron genes further. Breeding more complacent people who accept everything that is fed to them. More people to vote for some Bush offspring. Hell, I'm not even gonna fight it. I may as well wear a 'Bush in '04' button my damn self. Because we know this absolutely cinches him the re-vote. Hurray for the red white and blue.
