WHEN: Thursday, May 26th, before the zombies are contained
WHERE: Veles, around the city
FILTER: Closed
WHAT: Dean can't leave innocent people to face zombies alone. Castiel can't leave Dean to face zombies alone, either.
NOTES: Violence, zombies. Dean's mouth, maybe.
STATUS: Ongoing
To say Castiel didn't want to be returning to Veles was an understatement, but there he was anyway, clutching one of Dean's shotguns and hyperaware of their surroundings as he listened for any hint of the creatures. If he had any of his abilities other than additional strength, he would have had no concern, but he didn't. And he didn't care at all to repeat the zombie infection.
However, he cared even less to let Dean be at risk of infection and turning, especially without someone to help him get back to Adstringendum if it did occur. So he was along for zombie killing whether he really wanted to be or not.
