WHO: Maes Hughes and whomever wants to buy stuff!

WHAT: People come to buy stuff at the auction and talk to each other.
NOTES: Treat this like a rations post. Jump in everywhere, and while the auction happens, you can say your getting things. An actual auction might not occur, but I'll put in a couple things here and there, if there's a large response. If you want to start your thread at a certain point, you may list it in the subject line, such as "at the entrance." or "During all the fast talking." If you want a thread to be between certain people, please also state if the thread is private between specific people.

Maes had hired a 'fast talker' to do the actual auction part, and he managed to scrounge up some refreshments. Home made cookies (that were Elysia's absolute favorite, and therefore they will NOT be rejected here) and some drinks would be enough for the auctioners. He mentally went over the list of items that would be up for sale and smiled to himself They were definitely needed by the public, and the money would go to a good cause. What exactly, he wasn't certain, but Maes always knew that it wouldn't be wasted.
"Let's see here, there's two bed frames, three little tables, four lamps... one dining set and two sofas. On top of that are some good bed sheet sets, two quilts, and curtains. As for the food, the best produce of apples, squash, beans, and a rare bushel of fruit. Oh! And tomatoes! Canned, specifically, since that will be important in the winter.
"Some kitchen items, and the best part, recreational items [namely condoms] that are in short supply in the general store. All right! Looks like we're all set for this shin-ding!"
