[Sheldon had to make a stop at the temple. Not that he wanted to be there. He had to be there to make sure that everything was going okay even if it was in appearance only. He noticed a book on a staircase hidden in the corner and picks it up

[It had been a very long night and morning for Roy, but it was no different from serving his duties back in Amestris. When he returns to the apartment, he's ready to sleep for a little bit, but instead he spots Sheldon and walks over.]

Good afternoon, Sheldon.

[He looks up from the book and gives an acknowledged nod.]

Hey, Roy. You look like hell.

[He hadn't closed the book.]

Got a question for ya. What's up with these random books showing up in weird places?

I was out all morning after my shift.

You found one too? The gate apparently spits out objects instead of people from time to time, though books usually are taken to the restricted section of the library.

Ironically, I found this one at the temple. It's written by a man that became one of the most feared dictators in the world. Funny, he had a sound philosophy about how the world should be but his ideals were put into a very bad chain of reasoning.

[Smirks.]

Looks like the Gate is retaliating.

[He strolls into the apartment singing "Praise the Lord and Pass the Ammunition" rather loudly, but stops when he sees Sheldon reading the book]

You found a book, too, I see.

[He doesn't close the cover completely and how he's positioned is he's lying on his back on his bed with his feet propped up on the top of his dresser. He nods his head and grins.]

Yeah. So what did you find, Dad?

[He holds up his book]

The Holy Grail Wars... No idea what it's really about, seems to have something to do with magic. What did you find?
