I watched this two weeks ago and never really thought about it. It made me wonder what it would be like to go out on the road and join the MLG for brawl. It's an experience i would want to have. I know i'm not a scrub when it comes to smash bros at all. Every tourney i go to i get way better, even if i do terrible. Look who i use though, Samus. No one uses Samus, actually i'm the only Samus at all of the tournies i go to and still kick ass. I've made a little name for myself amongth the touney go'ers.
Speaking of going to tourneys, I went to Cyber Arena this Saturday. I've havent had that much fun in forever. I love the community, i love meeting new players, playing them, comparing your skill. I love talking shit to the scrubs that i beat terribly, i love watching and cheering people on. If i could afford to go to a tourney ever weekend i would, it is just too much fun.
Between Pj, John and I, i was the only one to win my first round. I lost second round to the previous winner of tourney, he was a game and watch main i almost took him out. It was really close. After losing to him i was placed in the loser's bracket and had to face John. I felt bad for taking him out of the tournament, but hey, i was there to win. Whenever we play over here i never really care and the matches are close, but i was in the zone and pretty much two stocked him both matches. Pj lost to some no name guy in the losers bracket. I was the only one to proceed past second round. I lost to some guy named Polska. He lucked out because they put tripping in the game, i had him on the run first match. I tripped and he got a lucky downsmash that killed me at 90%. Beat him the second match and lost the third. I would write in detail but i have to go to work soon and i'm trying to speed this up and get to the point. I got 13th out of 29, John got 17th and Pj got 25h.
After getting knocked out of the tourney, i just floated around conversing with all of the people. I dont get it, usually i'm quiet in large groups of people, but something about tourneys is just so fun. I turn outgoing as hell. After like 2 more hours we headed out on our hour and a half drive back to hammond. The drive there and back broke my car, but it was totally worth it and i'll do it again in 2 more weeks.
Here's a gift of information for putting up with a post about brawl.
I finally got Sunny's fucking number! =D
I was walking into the cafeteria to get food and i saw Sunny. I commented on her one cool glove and we talked for a bit, of course i didnt ask her for her number because i'm dumb. She goes by the sub line or something and i grab some pizza then stand in line to pay. She pretty much then walks in front of me and like nudges me so she can get some pop. We started talking and joking around a little bit, then she stole my hat. I pulled out my phone to check some text i got, then i pretty much just asked her for her number. It was beautiful. I didnt actually think she'd leave with my hat lol. After i left school i texted her, she ended up caling me and we talked for a bit(which is wierd because i suck at phone convos, but it was easy to talk to her). For being asian she talks like an american lol. She said she'd call me later tonight, so score on that. I have to leave for work now, so i'll try to edit this later tonight and add more that i left out.
