we love the gays?
Despite my earlier seriousness, I am gonna lighten up for a minute and tell you that my favorite moment in the debate was when Palin accidentally implied that she believes in equal rights for gays, and then realized two seconds too late what she did, but when questioned couldn't (or knew she wasn't smooth enough to) backtrack b/c of the big tolerance speech she'd just made, and so just sat there with that blank OMG look on her face. HA!
Not that I don't wish the Repubs were revising their (stupid and unconstitutional) stance on this issue, but I highly doubt it, so now I'm just wondering if anyone's gonna call McCain on it, or if it'll all be lost in the frenzy of the economic crisis. Or the frenzy of OMG PALIN MANAGED TO GET OUT SEVERAL COHERENT SENTENCES. IN A ROW! ALMOST AS IF SHE WERE AN ADULT WHOSE NATIVE LANGUAGE IS ENGLISH! She was obviously coached, and she didn't really specifically answer many questions, but she did better than expected. Of course, to do worse than expected she would have had to like piss her pants on stage or start talking in a made up language or something, so.
