Papa passed on last 9 July 2008 due to complications from pneumonia. He was diagnosed with cancer of the pancreas, stage IV. He was 64.

His remains lie at the Sanctuarium in Araneta cor, Quezon Ave. There will be a mass tomorrow, Sunday at 9:30 a.m. and cremation will follow at 1:00 p.m.
