I'm sorry to hear that things are so bad for you right now. There are a couple of people on my f-list who have been hit with serious flooding and stranded relatives and friends.

I hope things work out for you soon and that you get all the help you need.

Don't worry, my family is all right since our house was not that much affected. We are lucky that our house was located in a high place even here in the city even if the nearest creek is a few kilometres further down our street. *whew*

My mom's sister's house is located in a subdivision that is near a creek and it is a one-storey/bungalow type of house that is why it was easily flooded due to a non-stop heavy rain of 6 hours (at the least!). They are okay now and have been busy with cleaning up their house and assessing damage to most of their things/furnitures/appliances. They recently just had their kitchen elevated a couple steps high and then this happens! -.-" It is time that they have to build a second storey in their house to avoid this from happening again. better yet, move to another city where there is virtually no flooding or at least the elevation is higher than their surroundings.

I was so worried about you when I heard about the rain and flooding in the Philippians, but I am so relived to hear that you did not experience the mass flooding that so many citizens of your nation did.

My heart and prayers go out to you, your family and all of those people who were affected by the floods. *hugs*

Please, keep us informed of anything that happens, and you take care of yourself. (。◕‿◕。)
