We went to the Market today, where I bought presents for people, and haggled my ass off. It's so fun. More on that later. We also went to the Shanghai museum, which was quite fascinating, and the Buddhist Temple, which was quite the enlightening experience (no pun intended) It was absolutely...humbling, to watch the lines of people deep in prayer before the Vatsayana Buddha in the main temple. The Jade Buddha was...incredible. An entire Buddha, made of jade. I mean..holy freakin shit. Anyhoo...must go find beer.
