Ok, so I have to know... who the hell in California looks at my damn journal every day? When I look at my footprints, there's the expected Ohio people, but every day there's at least one footprint out of California. What the fuck? I don't *think* I know anyone in Cali. Who in Cali cares what I'm doing??

Drunk. At 1:00 PM. On a Monday. Yep. John & I went & met Jeff & some others at Crew Stadium around noon for a Team USA World Cup viewing party. There was probably about 200 people there. We lost to the Czech Republic 3-0. I definitely enjoyed myself though. I got drunk within a matter of minutes, which is really easy when Bacardi is your breakfast. Call it a stereotype, but I felt it was only appropriate to get smashed while watching soccer. So I did.

Right now I'm watching game 4 of the Stanley Cup. Pulling for the Oilers, but I don't know... Losing Roloson in game 1 was a major blow, but Markkanen is doing a decent job filling in. There's about 6 minutes left in this game & my fingers are crossed that they'll pull something out.

John graduated yesterday, as did a few other of my friends. I went to the ceremony with the whole Snodgrass clan. I was kind of dreading it because I know how spring commencement at OSU can be. When 7,000 kids are getting their degrees, it's going to be a long afternoon. Thankfully, they kept the ceremony short for fear of rain. It was about 2 1/2 hours long, but I expected it to be longer than that. Once I saw John come into the 'Shoe, I found it hard to take my eyes off of him. He was easy to find because he was the sixth to last person in the whoooole procession. He looked so handsome & I am so proud of him. His mom & I managed to get us all seats in a spot where we could see John & he could see us, too. I sat by his dad who was cracking me up the whole time just pointing out random things. He was so excited when he knew we were about to see John & he seemed to just all around enjoy being there.

I am all alone for the week now. Just about everyone I know has either gone home for the summer or for the break. John left this afternoon to go visit his family, have a graduation get-together on Friday, & take his dad to a Reds game for Father's Day. He'll be back Sunday evening. All I've really got planned is work 3-10 Tues-Fri & 9-3 on Saturday & to go home at some point for Father's Day. My mom is supposed to be in town the rest of the week doing her Education Department job, but I don't think I will get to see her because of the hours I work. Lonely, boring week. Sunday can't get here soon enough.

Rawr.

I really have nothing else meaningful or intelligent to add. The Oilers just lost making them down 3-1 in the series. I'm going to go read or something.
