Yea...i just had an uber long entry to submit about the TCg tournament but it errored while i submitted it. That's just gay. *thwacks site*
Here's a short summary of my entry:
-Was going to SA for the torunament but a player there said there wasn;t going to be one
-Went to the one in town (A.) instead
-Person in SA calls morning of and tells me there is a tournament there
-My bf and I got very very pissed
-SA has best out of three tournaments so chances of randomly losing were less
-A. has single elimation matches so its very easy to lose by pure chance
-We couldnt make it to the SA in time, so we were stuck in A.
-Which wasnt too bad since owner here is nice and some of the players are cool too
-But some of the players are really icky and competitive and mean to the lil kids there
-Anyways. I lost one match out of six and got third place.
-Even though i beat the person who got 1st place.
-Scoring system sucks.
-Sucks even more that the person I lost to was ranked so low that I only managed 3rd place when i couldve gotten 1st so easily.
-Sucks even more that I lost cuz I was nice to the other person and kept reminding them of the bad things they could do to my hand...so it was partially my fault i lost too. But its not like i COULDNT tell them. That's just cheating. Plus, i had a horrible draw. Couldnt get any of my pets out that I needed and didnt draw any villians.
-Did make a lot of new friends there so it was cool
-Evil people did try to stalk me around the playing area to learn my deck and how I play so that they could beat me.
-Too bad I beat them anyways. =p
Then i ranted a bit about the amniosity I feel coming from some of the tournament holders/players from time to time when I play at tournaments. I'm slightly older than most of the people that play (though there are plenty of people my age and older than come too) and I play the game well. It seems like ive worn out my welcome at some of the places, though they still greet me with a smile and stuff. Neopets needs to open up more places for me to play at so that I can go to a different location from time to time. *nods*
