With my new job (on top of my old one) I dont have much time for neopets anymore, though I still frequent it from time to time. I just havent found the time to work on collecting avatars and what not as much as I used to be. I still find plenty of time to collect real-life merchandise from Neopets and attend the big TCG tournaments. Havent been to a smaller TCG tournament in a long time.
The last few days or so has gained me a lot of new books as I visited all the Half-priced books stores near me and stock piled all my favorite books, including the Acorna series my Anne McCaffrey and about half of the books from the Dragonriders of Pern series. Still working on getting the rest....never knew there were so many. Even found some rare books like the comic book version of one of the DRoP books and a short story book of one of the Acorna books that Ive never seen anywhere before. Also rounded out my Harry Potter books, though two of them didnt have the book jackets. *shrugs* No biggy.
Don't know what else to write in here. Nothing much going on. So much animosity going on in the boards that i rarely visit there anymore...so many generalizations about EACCers, ACers, and non-Premium nonsense is getting on my nerves. They should reset Neopets to a time before the boards were a main gathering area of the site. More focus should be on the fun aspects of the game and not the negative ones. At this rate, Neopets will be doomed...and then what will I do with the little spare time I have between work, sleep, and my boyfriend? I can only read so many books. I suppose I could always go back to the Shooting Games industry and play those mmorpgs. At least the hatred there wasn't so real, so personal and so vindictive. It was still a game. Or has that genre changed since I've last played it as well?
