Armpit Hair

Current mood:HAIRY :D Hello friends! It has been awhile since I blogged and though I should be helping prepare an evening meal, I felt compelled to do this instead, seeing how long it has actually been since I subjected you all to my nonsensical ramblings.
The issue then is this: I have decided (with much enthusiastic encouragement from Chris) to stop shaving my armpits, legs. Anything that can be shaved, I am not shaving. The hair has grown out enough that my children are starting to notice and tell me that "I need to shave." Hmmm.. I decided to go online tonight and look for images of woman "ala naturale" to see what the ultimate outcome is for making this type of decision. Will it be thick and dark, light and manageable? I scarcely remember since I've been shaving my "hairy monsters" since age 11.
What I found there (online) was fairly interesting! As you can imagine, more than one sight has turned the issue into some money making perversion and it was fairly hard to come by any decent images of hairy armpitted women without accidentally stumbling upon 18 year old asian girls with their boobs showing.
The one very surprising thing that I found was a woman named Amanda from the Dresden Dolls was all over the place and referred to on more than one site concerning her hairy pits.
What prompted me to write is that I became curious of you, those who know and love/like me, what you might think the next time you see me with small cats hiding under each arm?
This summer should be interesting. I rather enjoy freaking people out anyway and this will be a grand way to make some heads shake.. :)
To be perfectly honest, I dont' miss shaving one little bit. It makes for a faster, more enjoyable shower and once it grows out a little, is not so pokey.
I always wanted to date/ find/ love a man who considered the natural state of hair on a woman's body to be a little more than ok and have secretly always wondered if men who want their woman shaved "DOWN THERE" aren't a little pedopheliac?? I mean, once you hit 12 you got hair DOWN THERE. So, what, women are supposed to look like they're under age 10 to be socially acceptable? HMMMMM. NO more of this nonsense! Let's take back the earth! let the Hairy times roll! I am HAIRY ARMPIT WOMAN, HEAR ME ROAR!!
