Sunday night. it was 11:30 pm and I was on the freeway on my way to Mira Loma this morning.
I hadn't slept the entire day so I was messed up but that to riboflavin energy boost I was able to maintain. Man that stuff is awesome, no crash like the rest of those yucky energy drinks that deceive.
We got there, my car load and it was cold outside the convention building, midnight. in time. We were then on our way to help assist the deligates get the passengers to their flights back home and also check luggage and just offer simple greetings as they departed.
Alot of people started to arrive, the people being visitors from all over the world now returning back home, some of which were visiting america for the first time. That was quite the experience, something I'll never forget. Their warmth and tears as they waved goodbye to us . I felt like I was part of the rainbow coalition. Asian, Japanese, Australian, New york, Italian, Everyone.
The best part were the guys from Britian with their proper accents spiced up by slight american slang. What nice guys they were, especially the one that a friend of mind couldn't resist telling that he bore a strange resemblence to Sir Paul McCartney to which he blushed into a shade of red that I don't think I've ever seen and then everyone rolled their eyes at her including me because it was so obvious that she thought he was cute. she even slipped into a british accent as we all sat around in the early morning hours sipping coffee chatting .. we laughed at her.. hard. .
Something weird happened around 2 am. The feeling of sleep deprivation kicked in and people started singing and saying ridiculous things which lasted for quite some time. That was entertaining.
The day ended at about 11am and we all went home sore, tired, and hung over by the good time. To which here I am still tired but yet to lay my head down but I'm happy. We get to do it all over again on Wednesday. I'm off now to try and chase dreams in hopes of finding some treasures from today.
