Hi, I just joined. It says in the community info that doing old challenges is ok...so I did a drabble for the Endings challenge

Drabble:
Sometimes, Polly puts down her pen and looks at Tom through the piles of books and papers scattered on the floor all around her. He always looks fiercely intent, no matter what he’s doing; especially if he’s wrapped lovingly around the cello. He holds it the way he holds Polly- delicately and reverently. Sometimes she has to call out his name before he realises she’s still there in the room with him; then he glances up vaguely, sometimes throwing a guilty look at the clock, sometimes looking around as though he’s forgotten where he is.
Sometimes, she knows, he’s Nowhere.
