Artpost for "And He Saved My Soul" created for Spn Cinema Challenge
This set of manips were created for spn_cinema 2020 challenge based on the movie Disney's Hercules (1997) . First off, a huge thank you to lia1996 for trusting me to illustrate her fic. 1. The Opening banner. Did various cut outs with many color schemes added to a colourful BG.
2. The scene story of a mighty Hercules Jared being told. the candle and the book represents a reflection of story being recreated and the picture depicts that the story is that of Mighty Hercules Jared. Did a cut out of a man and then Jared's face from one of his photoshoots to create a Warrior Jared and used stickers of armor, cloak and crown. I used that manip to be fitted into an old frame.
3. Jared as Hercules and Chad as Pegasus. The Best Team. Friends.
4. The scene where Hercules Jared meets Meg Jensen for the first time and saves him from being attacked by a centaur. The BG is just as described in the story, it happens near a serene lake with woods and rocks around. I did cut outs of Greek costume and used the same cut out of Jared's face from earlier manips and created a warrior Jared all dressed up with a sword and ready to fight. Jensen is the damsel in distress.
5. Another scene with Jared and Jensen in a garden where they share some sweet moments and life stories. the focus was the closeness of the characters and the background that mentions the night sky, the water and statues and a rose.
6. A Mighty Hercules Jared who's image is created by Zeus in the sky in honor of the Hero who saved the world from doom. A GIF to represent The Mighty Jared.
7. The Ending Banner...they lived happily ever after. Prince Jared and his damsel in distress forever Jensen. The black and white portrait to give it an ancient look with a photo frame.
