The End Of The 6 Day Stretch
So i've been working 6 days in a row since Wednesday, I was supposed to have friday off but i signed up for the Overtime to come work 8-5 in Softlines and that really wasn't so bad.
As far as that day went, it was pretty easy. Just had alot of carts to work clothes out of and onto the floor and worked on the roller-racks which kept me busy all afternoon so that helps and i punched out about 5:30 and went home after i talked to Marsh about my day.
Yesterday, i did my infamous 11 hour shift once again, even tho it was terrible and i couldn't do a whole lot, but i stayed from 11-11, but i punched out technically at 10:52 but i had about 10.86 hours, so that was cool anyway, it's still overtime that i'm willing to take.
Today, Marsh and I both worked 2-11 and tried to work our breaks around Josh's cuz he was working the same time, so we took our first 15 minute break at 4 and then our lunch came at 5:30, fortunately Josh was able to work that out because he was gonna have to go later because he was by himself but miraculously, this guy Tom came in there and he worked in the back, he was an unloader i think but somehow, he ended up transferring and now he's a cart pusher which surprised the hell out of me but i thought it was a good thing because for one, they really did need the help and he's a big guy and he could be capable of doin some good work and they worked it out so Josh had his lunch with us over at Sam's Club and we ate pizza and hung out so that was cool.
I had to be pulled out and push carts twice today, therefore couldn't get much done in my department which i felt bad about but that's how it is with me at Walmart, I have NO RIGHTS, whatsoever and i gotta be whored out even tho i hate it immensely.
So i did carts at like 3 somethin til close to 4 and then i was back out there after lunch, from 6:30 til 8:30 when Jimmy, my asst manager wanted me back inside to work on my returns n stuff like that so i was fine with it and we took our last break at 9 and i got back out there and got paged up to the service desk again to grab the return cart for Paper Goods & Chemicals since they wanted me to work that, so i did and got back to my dept and started zoning light bulbs n stuff and it ended up after 10 and Marsh came around and helped me out a lil bit til i saw a bunch of the associates, i feel retarded saying that, were walking by saying " oh, they let us go " so i just followed.
I wrote my note to my dept manager explaining what happened and i grabbed my coat and went to the back and punched out at 1030 and we came home.
Caught the tail end of Raw, Bischoff got "FIRED" so that was kinda gay i guess, i mean it's not a big deal cuz of course, it was kinda expected, just gotta wait til next week i would think to see who the new GM will be.
I'm really worn out, really sucks havin to do carts again and for so long like that, it wasn't real bad out there, it was just the fact that it was cold and i just kept on goin n goin and it wore me out but at least i'm not too much outta shape, cuz it could have been worse.
Now, after all those days, i got tomorrow off and i'm gonna sleep in and once i get up, i'm headin to Best Buy and buying the new Korn cd and the new Eminem cd and gettin the money order and sending it out for my new ROH dvd and i May be tryin to hang out with Dennis tomorrow, but it's gonna be tight considering i gotta be at my friends concert thing at 7 but i'm gonna try gettin there at 6:30 but i'll see what i can fit in.
Not much else goin on otherwise, i'm just waiting anxiously for my party, i got just a few days left, because it's on Sunday and it's gonna be one hell of a day, hopefully i get a halfway decent turnout because alot of people are still either up in the air or haven't even gave me an answer yet so it's not sounding real good for the most part, but at least i know i got a few people that i'm sure about.
I'll write in here later, like tomorrow or whatever, if i can remember.
