For the love of a pair of grey, flecked trousers. 5th Reiteration of the 4th Doctor
Even now they allude me. I found a very good paire yesterday, in fact, i almost had the Trifecta. A great looking shirt, a great cardigan vest, and a pair of grey flecked trousers. But the trousers were too big. I decided to leave them but i recently thought about going back and getting them altered. Yes, Altered. I want them and the costume isn't complete until i have them
On my way baker. Picks to follow. Questions i have? Should i ruin my coat by putting elbow patches on it?
Here is what i origionally went with, using my best resources at the time:
I really liked the cross chain thing i could do, but i was slightly miffed at the way the vest looked, and it didn't breathe exactly.
The New Vest is a knit, and it has no pockets, so no more chain, which i may solve with the use of a safety pin. It is not argyle, though i think it looks batter than the olive vest. As well, the new shirt is much darker.
I think this is a vast improvement.
More to come. i think its really coming along though.
