Jack's coat

While I was busily preparing my Captain Jack Harkness costume, I ran in to bit of snag. The first snag was the coat. I have looked on Ebay and found a couple of RAF coats that are really out of my price range once you add in shipping across seas.  I searched some of the previous posting and found that some other coplayers used a Swiss Officer coat. The one I found comes just below the knees and looking at my pictures this appears to be a little to short. I have plagued google and other search engines til they partically snarl at me when I log on.  I was wonder if anyone else out there had any suggestions on where I can find RAF replica coat or some other coat close enough in style that I can modify. Any suggestions are welcomed. Even other search terms I can try.  My other snag is the webley.  Searching ebay has yielded  webley results that are to 1/16 scale. I was hoping to find something life size. Any thoughts?
