It's All About The Accessories...
A few weeks' ago, I declared that I could whip out a replica of Jack Harkness' wrist computer (as seen in the tail-end of the Chris Eccleston run on DW and thereafter in Torchwood) in a weekend, easy-peasy. A fun little one-day project, I thought. Oh, how I laugh ruefully at the memory of the statement.
Three weeks later, it's about as done as it's going to get and, like most of my projects, it was a highly educational series of mistakes. However, what I've got ain't so bad. Pictures and details have been posted on my fannish journal.
I'll be putting up a more organized costume diary, with pictures of the piece as it was in-progress, later this week.
