The Doctor scrubbed a hand through his hair, worrying it into an even more severe state of disarray. Lean body hunched over the table, he adjusted his glasses again, his entire posture a map of intense concentration.

Donna drummed her fingers on the table.

“Rum!” he proclaimed proudly, after a prolonged pause. “Double word score - 10 points!” He waggled his eyebrows at Donna.

Barely glancing at the board, she laid down all seven letters. “Panjandrum,” she announced, tallying up the score.

The Doctor appeared to droop a bit within his brown suit, white pinstripes collapsing dejectedly. “Damn metacrisis,” he mumbled.
