I was actually getting ready for school and thought the news coverage was a trailer for a movie or something. It wasn't until my parents were like, "OMG somebody accidentally flew into one of the buildings in New York." that it became a real news story for me. Senior year in high school, physics class, my seat near the door. Someone called the teacher and told her to turn on the TV, and there it was: a burning hole in the North Tower.

Then, as we watched, one student in the class said, "Oh my God, there's a second plane."

Nope, I'll never forget.
