Texas for Thanksgiving

I had a fabulous Thanksgiving in Texas this year. Erich and I went to Austin for a night and then also went to a Texans games with my dad and sister. Man, how I miss Austin!! I, too, spent the weekend in Texas.

I've spent a lot of time there in the last 2 years and I have mixed feelings about it. I just can't stand the heat in the summer.

The summer is okay, b/c there are a ton of places to go swimming and really, you just stay inside all the time...you can do it! How was your Thanksgiving?? I hope it was nice :)

yeah I live in the 'burbs but it's because I enjoy the quiet time when I'm home (and can afford more of a house out here!) but it's still nice to be in the Austin vicinity where I can share the eclectic stuff!

Malaka...you live in the burbs, but actually add color to your house (that awesome purple in your bedroom)and your back garden is AMAZING! I love that you take time to pick plants that bloom and are of different heights to give your space so much character. It drives me nuts when people move into the burbs and leave it the blank slate that they were given when purchased. It's all about adding your touch to it...I look forward to all the pictures of your home improvements and gardening ( ... )
