so, one of the directors of the show wanted me to get my hair "styled". he liked that my hair was long; he even said that he wished that more dudes in the cast had long hair because we "looked like a bunch of midwest farmboys." so, he recommended a stylist here in bloomington and sent me there for her to do with me what she would. she said that i had really nice hair, which lessened the terror in my entire being from walking into a nice hair salon for the first time in my life on my own. i told her that i didn't really know what i wanted (which was easy...i'm used to saying that to women--ooooooh shit!) but she seemed ok with the challenge. she decided to put a little bit of layering in my hair to lighten it up a bit, and she recommended that i get some kind of conditioning steam treatment. so i did. i sat in a chair with a steamer thing on top of my head (it felt amazing) reading a very good article on coldplay in a recent rolling stone. then she dried my hair and styled with the aid of a flattening iron. it felt a little ridiculous, but my hair really does feel awesome right now....i mean ultra-turbo awesome. the she recommened some shampoo and conditioner for me to use so that my hair would continue feeling this way, as well as some kinda leave-in conditioner thing. there was something else i was gonna say...what was it...oh yeah, IT COST A HUNDRED AND THIRTY DOLLARS!!!!!!! holy mother of shit! i dropped a C-note and change on my hair this afternoon. i was not emotionally prepared for that. i mean, it's great and everything, but damn girl. on my way out they removed my testicles and put them in a small glass container filled with "product" ( i think to give them some more volume or...something like that). the end.
